  • COVID-19 SAFETY: The safety and health of our guests and staff is our top priority. Thus we have implemented new safety standards throughout our property. Including, but not limited to: deep sanitized cleaning, social distancing protocols, and contactless self check-in options, and individually packaged breakfast. We also have hand sanitizer throughout the property available to our guests at all times.
  • ONSITE STAFF AND PHONE HOURS: 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • QUIET HOURS: Out of courtesy to our guests and to minimize noise, we ask that the 1st floor common areas are not utilized after 9:00pm to ensure everyones comfort.
  • CHECK-IN: After 3:00pm. Check-in Instructions are provided in your confirmation email. The hotel offers self check-in after 6:00pm.
  • CHECK-OUT: 11:00am. As bookings are pre-paid, there is no formal check out process.
  • RESERVATION POLICY: Payment is required at the time of booking.
    • Standard Bookings: 15 days prior to arrival for refund
    • Group Bookings/Property Buyouts: 60 days prior to arrival for refund
    • Special Event/Non-Refundable dates: BottleRock (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
    • No credits or refunds on early departures.
    • In the case of any catastrophic event, locally or nationally (fire, earthquake, pandemic) and a State of Emergency has been declared, all cancellations within our cancellation policy will be given a credit for a future stay for the amount of the deposit, or for the amount charged (Direct,, Expedia, HotelTonight, etc.). No cash refunds.
    • Hotel will retain 3% of total booking for third party credit card processing fee on cancelations .
    • Reservations are not transferable to any other person(s).
  • SMOKING POLICY: Our property is 100% non smoking. Guest will be charged a $200 cleaning charge to guests that have smoked in our property or rooms.
  • PETS POLICY: Pets are not allowed at our property. ADA-defined service animals are allowed at no additional cost.
  • HOUSEKEEPING: Daily housekeeping service is provided to each of our guest rooms.
  • PARKING: Complimentary parking is available on a first come basis. ADA-defined van accessible parking is available. The George is not responsible for any theft or damage.
  • TERMS & CONDITIONS: located on reservations page and available to you prior to payment collection.
  • HISTORIC BUILDING: The George is a historic building thus square footage of rooms vary. All rooms have older windows that are not double-paned nor sound resistant, some rooms have a closet and others have freestanding armoires. Please view each room description and photos online to select a specific room based on your preferences. The building does not offer an elevator and guest rooms are located on 1st , 2nd, and 3rd floor walkup. The George is best suitable for children over the age of 12.
  • ACCESSIBILITY: We make every effort to be accessible for all guests visiting and staying at our Inn. Please refer to our rooms tab and accessibility tab for more details regarding our hotel's accessibility features. ADA guests are welcome to book our accessible room (Room 102) in the same manner that non-ADA guests that can book any other room.
  • The George has a minimum charge of $100 to damaged incurred to all or part of the property which may affect the potential to re-sell a room upon checkout. It is understood that upon checking into The George, you agree to such charges being taken upon checkout in covering such expense. The George reserves the right to request guests depart the property whom display a lack of care, damage or disrupt the general atmosphere, guest experience, and business reputation during their stay. This includes but is not limited too; smoking in house, in room breakages, drug/alcohol consumption, theft, property damages and/or in causing unreasonable disruption to other guests.
